Avenir saw the Thought Farms of Cosecha Verde, and took it upon himself to free those the Shapers had imprisoned. As the former leader of the Enlightened on Nemesis Earth, Avenir felt more responsible than anyone for the success of the Shaper Invasion. But that also meant he felt the most betrayed by the Shapers, leading him to become the most bitter member of Nemesis, and the most extreme in his anti-exogenous views.
