Someone from Nemesis used Remote Participation tech to take control of her, forcing her to speak the password "Retribution." Shortly thereafter, Carrie was abducted by Nemesis. A Nemesis operative destroyed Carrie's Simulacrum in a public video meant to announce their arrival.
